The constellations were rotated. Or reflected. The Inquisition awaits your answer.
The joke
The Holy Inquisition asked Galileo:
“Does the Sun go round the Earth, or the Earth round the Sun?”
Galileo gave an evasive answer:
“Go fuck yourselves!”
How to play
Choose 2D for flat figures or 3D for spatial constellations. If rotation alone can align the right figure with the left, choose “Same”. If it is a mirror image, choose “Mirror”. In 3D, imagine turning an object in your hands in any direction. Nearer stars appear larger and brighter. Answer quickly but accurately. Each pair allows 10 seconds in 2D or 15 in 3D. Ten practice pairs with explanations, then 60 scored pairs in three blocks with breaks. The scored blocks do not reveal correctness until the end. Response keys are assigned at the start and stay fixed.
